The Executive Director of Adult Social Services approves an extraordinary in-year fee increase for commissioned residential and nursing care homes which provide services for older people and people with physical disabilities. The proposed increase is in addition to the previous 3.9% increase awarded as part of the annual fee setting process for 2019/20.

The increase will help to secure adequate provision is maintained within the market to meet statutory responsibilities and to provide care and support for Manchester people in a suitable setting.
