To give Capital Expenditure approval of £6,600,000 for Hammerstone Road Depot additional funding

A budget increase was approved by Executive on 22^nd July 2022 and Council on 5^th October 2022. This request is to approve the increased Capital Expenditure for further works and cost pressures arising from the construction market and other economic factors. The current depot is in a poor condition with issues arising that potentially compromise the effective day to day delivery of services. The cost plan and detailed design has now been progressed and have identified the requirement for some further works to the façade, roof and drainage. The combination of the change in scope, increased works required alongside inflationary pressures means that the budget will need to be increased
