Purpose:

To approve a budget of £695k for the procurement of a new Legal Case Management System

Decision:

The Deputy Chief Executive and City Treasurer approves a budget of £695,000 for the procurement of a new Legal Case Management System.

 

The support for the current system ends on the 31 January 2023.  The Council needs to procure a new Legal Case Management solution as soon as possible to ensure business continuity. 

 

The alternative option of not procuring a new system is not viable as there is a critical business need to ensure the Council’s Legal Services can continue to deliver the support required to both Manchester City Council and Salford City Council.
