Financial approval of third year of MCR Active Contract for period 1April 2021 to 31 March 2022.

The Deputy Chief Executive and City Treasurer agrees the funding for year 3 of Manchester Active (1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022), which this period is £2,109,703.

The contract is for the provision of Sport and Leisure Services, including the development and implementation of Manchester’s Sport and Physical Activity Strategy, managing the performance of the Council’s appointed facility managing agent (GLL) and the commissioning and development of services and activities that support an increase in sport and physical activity participation and tackling inactivity.
