The approval of capital expenditure to undertake remedial  works on highway structures identified from Principal Bridge Inspections

The Deputy Chief Executive & City Treasurer approves capital expenditure of £300,000 for the design, development and procurement of structures maintenance schemes that are identified following detailed bridge inspections.

This work is essential to Health & Safety to ensure that bridges are safe for people to use and is a statutory duty placed on all local authorities to maintain the public highway.
