The approval of capital expenditure from Sustaining  Key Initiatives budget for the appointment of a Design and Build Contractor to undertake detailed design and planning. Also early works/ enabling works within Piccadilly area.

The Deputy Chief Executive and City Treasurer approves capital expenditure of £1,811,000 from the Sustaining Key Initiatives budget for the appointment of a Contractor to undertake works to Piccadilly Area Phase 1.

This work will include the demolition of the free standing wall and other early works/enabling works within Piccadilly area, to create a safer environment and facilitate longer term improvements.
