To consider the renewal of the contract for the delivery of the Manchester Sport and Leisure Strategy.

The Deputy Chief Executive and City Treasurer approves funding of £2,095,631 for a one-year period (1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021), which is Year-2 of the contract term, for the provision of a Sport and Leisure services, including the development and implementation of Manchester’s Sport and Physical Activity Strategy, managing the performance of the Council’s appointed facility managing agent (GLL) and the commissioning and development of services and activities that support an increase in sport and physical activity participation and tackling inactivity.
