Register of interests guidance note

You must declare any payment or provision of any other financial benefit (other than from Manchester City Council) made or provided to you in respect of any expenses incurred by you in carrying out your duties as a councillor, or towards your election expenses, within the period of 12 months ending with the day on which you give your notification to the Council’s Monitoring Officer for the purposes of Section 30(1) of the Localism Act 2011 and/or by virtue of Rule 29 of Manchester City Council’s Procedure Rules.  This includes any payment or financial benefit from a trade union within the meaning of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992.
