Nell Lane/St. Werburgh's Road Rat Run
We the undersigned petition the Council to Set up further traffic calming and other measures to control speed and discourage volume on the St. Werburgh's Road rat run after discussion with residents.
St Werburgh's Road/Nell Lane from the junctions with Wilbraham Road to the North and Mauldeth Road West to the South is a 20mph residential zone on which are sited two secondary schools and a primary school as well as a Metrolink hub. There are problems about peak volumes on an active travel route to three schools, and about off peak speeding which need to be addressed by changes on our road in the context of Area 3 measures.
