According to world's leading scientists, the Earth is "well outside safe operating space for humanity". Six out of nine "Planetary boundaries" had been broken because of human-caused pollution. Bill McGuire (A climate scientist) is expecting a societal collapse by mid-century. We need to act and that starts with introducing more greenery in the City Centre which is obviously lacking. Manchester city centre is very deprived of any green spaces compared to other major cities.
