Premises Licence Variation - The Cooperative Food Store, Corporation Street, Manchester, M4 4BE
Now contains new information from the applicant.
Minutes:
Consideration was given to a report of the Director of Planning, Building Control and Licensing regarding an application for a Premises Licence Variation.
The Hearing Panel considered the written papers, oral representations of all parties as well as the relevant legislation, guidance and case law.
The applicant’s agent addressed the Hearing Panel and explained that they wished to retail alcohol 24 hours a day. The agent explained that the method of delivery was by bicycle or moped during 00:00 and 08:00, collection of goods would be from the rear of the premises.
GMP had agreed the application and LOOH addressed the Hearing Panel and requested conditions regarding noise and disturbance due to nearby residential dwellings and a hotel.
In their deliberations the Hearing Panel felt that this was a responsible operator who had implemented appropriate conditions on their application but felt it necessary to include a condition regarding delivery drivers, requesting that they do not cause noise disturbances whilst making collections and waiting for collection of goods for delivery.
Decision
To grant the application as applied for with the added condition regarding delivery drivers not creating any noise disturbance.
