In reaching its decision the Panel also considered the Council’s Statement of Licensing Policy, the Licensing Act 2003, the Regulations made there under and the Guidance issued by the Secretary of State under Section 182 of that Act and the licensing objectives.

Minutes: The Chair had agreed to this item being added as Urgent Business.
GMP addressed the Hearing Panel and explained that they were objecting to the TEN due to the lack of clear information regarding alcohol and security management and the lack of any site plan.
The applicant addressed the Hearing Panel and explained the nature of the TEN application for the Levenshulme PRIDE event.
After some discussion between GMP and the applicant, GMP noted that the applicant’s explanation of their intentions would not require the submission of a TEN and proposed that the applicant may wish to withdraw.
The applicant withdrew the TEN, therefore no decision was required of the Hearing Panel.
