In May 2018, the Executive endorsed the recommendations of the Sport and Leisure Review carried out in early 2017 and agreed to approve the adoption of the new Sport and Physical Activity Strategy and the operating arrangements proposed to deliver it. This report provides an update on the progress made over the last twelve months and highlights that Manchester is tackling inactivity six times faster than the national average.
