Purpose:
To award funding to enable the IT transfer from Northwards IT to Manchester City Council IT.
Decision:
The approval of capital expenditure of £4.090m to migrate the Northwards ICT infrastructure into the City Council infrastructure. This migration will include 46 different line of business applications, the network infrastructure, printing, end user devices and telephony. A key focus of the migration will be to deliver the migration work whilst protecting live services to 12,700 tenants.
